Japan Expat Breakfast Round Table - Important changes in rules and regulations

When a Japanese expat comes to the Netherlands, there are several topics that require attention. Matters such as immigration, tax and social security are relevant not only during but also before and after the expat’s assignment.

To inform you about important developments in Dutch legislation, practical solutions and other topics that are relevant for Japanese expats we organize a Japan Expat Breakfast Round Table together with Meijburg & Co and Holland Expat Center South.

Meijburg & Co specialists will inform you about Dutch payroll compliance for Japanese employers such as transfer of the wage tax withholding obligation, consequences of the Dutch 30%-ruling, request for a corresponding approval for Japanese company pension plans and the opting-out regime for Dutch income tax filing. As for immigration, the experts will discuss the highly skilled migrant procedure, the Intra Corporate Transfer Directive and the obligations of the employer as sponsor of an employee’s permit.

This breakfast session is interesting for HR and payroll professionals at companies employing Japanese expats as well as Japanese expats themselves. The round table will be conducted in English, and Japanese language support will be available. Participation is free of charge but registration is required. You can register here
